8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher

8 Hours | $125

This online annual HAZWOPER refresher course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics include protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. This course covers topics included in 29 CFR 1910.120.

40-Hour HAZWOPER

160 Hours | $400

The 40-Hour HAZWOPER course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Administrative Assistant – Level I
Course Duration:  160 Hours

Course Summary:  Administrative workers are an integral part of any office across industry. This hands on, intensive training program will provide students with the skills and knowledge needed for entry level employment in the administrative field. This intensive training program is conducted via Live, Distance education. Students will be provided unique usernames and logins to access NIT’s Blackboard and Blackboard Collaborate accounts. Training covers advanced tools and knowledge needed for employment in the administrative field. Students must have successfully completed Administrative Training Level One or show proof of required skill in the following areas: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint. This training includes hard and soft skills, including advanced computer skills, personal finance, budgeting, electronic file storage and creation, databases, and communication.

 Students completing the Early Childhood Leadership series both understand and apply the importance of self-awareness and leadership roles, highlighting social and community impacts of their work. Early Childhood Leaders influence positive contributions to children, the early childhood workforce, and community through community impact. Flagger Certification

6 Hours | $165

This online course is designed to offer flagging skills necessary to individuals who work in the construction field as a flagger and to those interested in becoming a flagger. By the end of the training, participants will have a complete understanding of the fundamentals of flagging. Upon successful completion, you will be able to print out a temporary certificate while American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) is processing the permanent registration card.
